We are Baltimore’s first Black Farmers’ Market and Bazaar. We are committed to providing entrepreneur, and local farmers, an outdoor space to sell and market their goods. URM is open on Saturday 11am-6pm. Aug. 21- Dec.18, 2020. URM has 15 local vendors and a petting zoo (2 horses, 1 goat) URM offers shoppers a variety of unique arts and craft, health food options, two food trucks, live entertainment and marketing space. URM will educate the community with local book artist, poetry readings, drums, and dance.

Baltimore’s UNDERGROUND RAILROAD MARKET is located on the historical Pennsylvania Ave, and Baker Street. Our large white tent with stage and tables is central located in the heart of Baltimore City. With easy access to the metro and bus lines.

URM is greatly needed to help solve the food dessert in this area. A recent Forbes article posted June 15, 2020 states” The largest D.C. Farmers market repeatedly denied black farmers and food makers a spots at their Dupont Circle farmers market. https://www.forbes.com/sites/jennysplitter/2020/06/14/racism-dc-largest-farmers-market/#7c28af63575b

URM highlights the life of Harriet Tubman born into slavery in Maryland. This creates a visitor/tourist attraction for Baltimore City.

COVID-19 distancing, masked required, ready-to-go food only.
