Short Story

iCARRe Resource Center is a privately owned, community driven space made up of a collection of nonprofit organizations (iCARRe Foundation, For My Kidz, Bro Code Baltimore, Different Kinda Smart, Be More Green) which focuses on providing wrap-around services to address the needs of the community through: mental health services, educational support, physical health learning and practices, entrepreneurship, workforce development, homeless services, transitional housing, and emergency services. Our goal is to develop strong, productive partnerships in the community, while taking a holistic approach to healing and mending families and youth.

Through generous donations, The iCARRe Foundation and partners will employ 20 youth ages 14-18, to work at the iCARRe Resource Center 20 hours a week for 6 weeks. During this time, the youth will be exposed to the following:

  • Hands on training experience

  • Leadership skills

  • Financial literacy

  • Budgeting

  • Soft skills

  • Workforce development

  • Community engagement

Here’s your opportunity to join us on this change making journey to provide our youth with the training and skills needed for them to become productive citizens who add value to their own communities. Join iCARRe’s mission by donating today and also spreading the word to all who cares about empowering our youth.
